Dream Builders

Built for Wonder. Rooted in Nature.

We build custom treehouses and tree-based structures for passionate clients with big dreams — elevated spaces designed as art installations in the forest canopy, created with deep respect for the trees and the life that happens among them.

Treehouses for dreamers, by dreamers

There’s something deeply familiar about being up in the canopy — a feeling that part of our humanness belongs there.

At Good Nature Treehouse, we create spaces that bring people closer to that feeling. Each project is shaped by the trees, the land, and the shared vision that brought us together, resulting in structures that feel intimate, immersive, and quietly extraordinary.

Tree-Based Structures, Thoughtfully Built

We don’t just build structures — we create places that invite imagination. Every project begins with the trees themselves and is shaped by how people will move, play, gather, and spend time once they’re off the ground.

From custom treehouses and play-focused decks to suspension bridges, treenets, and carefully planned attachment systems, our work blends design, climbing, and craftsmanship to create spaces that feel both adventurous and intentional. These are places for kids to climb, explore, and invent their own worlds — and for adults to slow down, gather nearby, and experience familiar spaces from a new perspective.

Treehouses

A treehouse can be just about anything you want it to be. In this case, I’m talking anywhere from full blown live-able treehouses, to a kids-centric playhouse style. Suspended geodesic structures, or classy cabins in the trees - we can build it. As climbing arborists and carpenters, the treehouse construction process is the perfect puzzle of rigging and design, all with tree health and longevity as top priority. The inspiration and passion is endless!

Tree Care

Good Nature Treehouse doubles as a full service tree care company. Any trees in the build zone will always be assessed, and the treehouse host trees can be cared for and monitored to accomodate any building activity. I am a proud and passionate Certified Arborist!

Tree Decks & Play sets

Raised play spaces where kids climb, build worlds, and let their imaginations run — a space to climb, invent games, and spend long afternoons outside, while staying close enough for adults to gather and keep an eye on the fun. Tree decks can be a great option to get a proper treehouse experience, with significantly lower build costs than live-able structures.

Suspension Bridges & Treenets

Bridges are TOO much fun, and create a magical entrance to a treehouse. Bridges can also be necessary for other practical uses such as stream/river crossings for foot traffic. We absolutely love building bridges, and all the fun rigging that comes with the process.

Treenets have swept the nation in popularity over the last 5 years. They are so cool, cozy, and a lower cost, lower profile way to lounge in the trees. They can be installed at ground level, and are a comfy human spider web - complete with walls.

Kind Words

“Chris was amazing to work with from start to finish: from building a complete digital model of our treehouse during the concept phase, to showing up the first day with pre-cut materials for the spiral staircase, to careful planning to ensure the project remained on budget, and constant communication throughout the process.

More than that, during construction Chris brought an infectious energy to designing the treehouse, incorporating fun elements like the spiral staircase, ship’s ladder and trap door (with counterweight!), and Dutch door for the main house structure.”

Craft & Differentiation

Treehouses are not just structures — they are collaborations between people and living trees. We combine certified arborist knowledge, advanced modeling technology, and specialized rigging systems to design and build with precision, creativity, and care. Our goal is to be regarded among the country’s most respected treehouse builders — artists just as much as we are builders.

Our work is intentionally far from basic. Rounded corners instead of right angles. Thoughtful details over shortcuts. Whimsical, refined, and fantastically dreamlike.

A Growing Body of Work

Our projects span regions and landscapes across the country. Each build becomes part of a growing portfolio shaped by place, people, and trust.

Symbiotic Dreams, Realized

When a project is complete, clients often say, “This is a dream come true.” What they don’t always see is that it’s ours too. That shared excitement — the moment imagination becomes reality — is what keeps us climbing higher. We would love to bring your dreams to life.
